5 Ways to Restore Peace When Nothing Seems Right


                                   

I see a lot of people around cribbing about how unhappy they are with their life. At times, it is ok to crib like a baby. It is completely fine to shatter and reach a state of despair at times because that is the fulcrum of life. We people have different acceptance towards inner or mental peace, positivity and happiness.  The key to life is to find out what matters to us at the whole level and what things or what people can make us cope up with that required peace. Instead of doing nothing about everything happening with us, we should definitely do something about it. Down below are the few ways that can help during those hours when we are constantly questioning our existence and are unable to reach to a conclusion when we think that the situation has escaped from our hands but in actual it hasn’t.

Talk To the Loved Ones
We all have that one person in our lives to whom we love enormously with all our heart. They can be our partners, parents, teachers, elder siblings or any closest friend since kindergarten. When you think the situation is running all over you, then it is perfectly fine to talk to your loved ones and explain to them what emotions you are going through in your head. Do not keep everything in your heart, if it is hard to handle for you all by self. Pour your feelings, emotions and state of mind to them and see how light you will feel.

Fill Your Gut
You must have heard that every heart’s way goes through the stomach.  So if you are ever shaken by the truth and are unable to reach to a state of tranquillity, then try filling your gut with good food around you. You will see how badly your body was craving for that delicious food to regain that strength and courage for letting you fight back.

Write Your Feelings
If you think you have so much to say but no one is around to listen, simply take a piece of paper and jot down about the bad days in order. Throw up all on that piece of paper and let it all be out from your system. Our body already has certain toxins; do not let toxins of words, emotions, ill-feelings sit for any longer.

Go For any Leisure Activity
We all have some activity or passion that drives us crazy. If you are battling with your obnoxious mind, then befool it and tell it that you are not taking that toll on you, anymore. Take out time and perform that leisure activity whether it is reading a book or even watching YouTube. Do not sit with a straight spine and spend next few hours in just cursing yourself (trust me that is not worthy).

Who Can Say No to Sleep
If time and schedule allow you, then spare some time for sleep or even a nap because our mind has this habit of making us either forget things partially or completely after a sound sleep. When we wake up fresh, we tend to feel bright and acceptable towards challenges. Just lay cozy in your bed and think about how you can deal with this unpleasant situation later. For now, focus on getting that sound sleep and shut down yourself for a while.

How to practice self-love?



                                                        

Have you ever considered about loving yourself no matter whatever the situation is? There are times when we treat ourselves as guilty for every wrongdoing or outcomes in our life. But let me tell you, we being humans have perfectly every kind of right to become wrong at any point and blame ourselves for every step that didn’t turn out to be as expected. But at the end, it is also right to gather and love ourselves up because no one else can love you better than you. Self-love is very intrinsic as loving someone else our entire life. Down below are the few ways that will lead to a path of self-love, which everyone must crave for.

Grooming or Pampering
Don’t you feel relaxed and motivated when you are your subject for time being? Give yourself that pamper and grooming time no matter if you are a male or female. Get into a hot shower with that aromatic or herbal soap or maybe cleanse your face with that newly bought and beautifully perfumed face washes from that store you went yesterday. For a change, focus on yourself and find out what your body and soul is craving for.

Eating Clean
If you have chosen a path towards loving yourself, then you certainly cannot ignore your body that has been working hard without complaining. Feed your body with right food and nutrients and keep it light. Do not just give up on good food because you are stressed or time is less. Make peace with right food and let your body be rewarded for being so powerful and strong through all thick and thins. Eat whatever you feel is healthy for your body and also dine out for junk food when nothing seems right (but do not make this a habit).

Take Yourself Out To a Date
I know, the movies have excessively told us that dates are always about taking your special someone or your other half to a fine dining place in the city or for a newly released movie. But who said, that you cannot date yourself all alone. Is it necessary to grab your favourite pasta or burger only with someone? Of course, you can take yourself out all by self and experiment with your dating style. You can absolutely go alone for any movie, Sunday brunch, shopping or for a long walk in a place that seemed very interesting to you.

Gift Yourself
Have you ever tried on purpose gifting yourself something for doing any courageous act or for doing something valuable? Try it now, gift yourself something, it can be anything small or big. It can be as small as a candy or as big a favourite pair of shoes. But make a habit of valuing yourself by gifting self something once in a while by pronouncing the words that state you are proud of self and you are worthy, no matter what others feel about you.

Appreciate Your Efforts
Stop looking for others who can pat your back for every accomplishment in your life. First, learn to appreciate yourself in every situation and make the inner you believe that you are doing okay and no need to doubt about it. Appreciate your body and soul for giving a life to you.  Learn to accept every situation and always appreciate your decisions and steps you took. If you can appreciate yourself in every achievement, learn to do the same at your failures or shortcomings as well.

While looking for someone else’s acceptance, we often fall short in loving us. Try practising the act of loving self first and putting others at second. You will see yourself, how valuable person was waiting for your hand inside you.

How to detox from your modern life?

                                           

I know, it is quite hard to not look at your screens of laptops or mobile when the time and the situations of today demand for it. But have you ever imagined that how today's technology and fast life is making us dumb and ignorant towards our "me time"?

 To detox from your usual lifestyle, what we most often do is either we engross ourselves in another screen of televisions or some other multimedia option.

Sometimes it is ok to let go of that technology and shake hands with that real world that has always welcomed us. The word detox doesn't only have to be in diets, it should be in our physical life as well. The act of detoxifying your body and soul isn't costly. Instead, it will only cost your little time and patience, isn't it amazing?
I am discussing with you few ways to enlighten our mind and body without depending upon the technology for a change and perform these activities whenever the inner peace is disturbed.

Walk-In Nature

Our body has this huge demand for a breath of fresh air which is hard to get in those small clustered offices or cubicles or our personal apartments. For a change, make a time to have a stroll in nature and let that fragrance of grass roll in. See the greenery to soothe your eyes, focus on the calmness and let your heart stop from pounding fast. Don't you feel rejuvenating and refreshing even from the thought of it? Go out and make it happen, at least for the sake of your body that has pulled off this far.


Find Your Muse

Everyone has this thing that inspires them or brings a genuine smile to the face. Be it music or be in any form of dance. Put your dancing shoes and tap on the beats that were on your playlist earlier this morning. Sing that song which seemed challenging to you. Draw that art which you think is enough to make yourself proud and satisfied. Who said you cannot perform your passion along with your career.

Meet New People

If you are an ardent extrovert then you might know the joy of meeting with new people and hearing out their stories and experiences. Even if you are an introvert person, do not worry, you can go to meet your friends and known people who have been there by your side. Meeting people whether old or new will give you that courage and confidence. And will also let you declutter your mind from your daily havoc.

Become An Artist

Artist doesn't have to mean here being drenched in colours and paints all around and creating a masterpiece for a showcase. Artist is a person who always experiments and gets creative over time despite being in any situation or field. Become an artist either by cooking differently than usual, or become an artist by trying clothes that match the inner you. Spur out that creative mind that is getting hogged by that technology.

We are never too old for practising the art of detoxification in our physical life. All we need is a little "me time" and patience to explore our inner self and get back to our demanding roles with ease.
